Cellulose Will Not Burn!

You can feel Safe Knowing the fact that with the "Minimized" air volume, the "Fire Retardant" nature of the material, and the "Professionally Installed" Product, It will not burn.

Basic Air Leakage Hot Spots Found in Buildings. All Wall, Window, Door, Floor, Pass Through for Pipe and Electrical and Attic Coverage is recommended.

Install Phase 1

Foam gaps and cracks with a low expansion polyurethane foam sealant. Also foam framing between doors and windows.

Install Phase 2

Hang reinforced 6mil poly with Duofast 5/16ths staples (goes with Duofast automatic staple guns), making sure to tack the whole perimeter.

Install Phase 3

Stitch it drum skin tight with one inch Bostitch staples (goes with Bostitch staple guns, pictured), making sure to get both sides of each stud as well as top and bottom plates.

Install Phase 4

Blow each wall cavity by cutting a small hole at top center of each bay and dropping a two inch hose down cavity until six to eight inches from bottom plate. Extra packing in done at top of bay by switching to an air only setting. Minimum weight is three pounds per cubic foot.

Box and Sill Runner

We stuff the Rim Joist with a product called cotton batts. This goes in the box sill. The Runners are webbed and blown.

Slopes and Attics

Sloped ceilings can be filled much like wall cavities, by first hanging and stitching a reinforced poly and blowing it in similar to a wall cavity. Attics are loose blown at an R value of 50 (can be more if desired) after hanging a regular 6mil poly onto a ceiling and stretching it tight with 5/16th Duofast staples around the perimeter and along each stud and strapping, if installed prior to hanging poly.

Sound Proofing

Walls and floors can be soundproofed with cellulose insulation by first hanging a breathable fabric called webbing, then packing it to a non- settling density. This provides superior sound deadening and sound quality to a room or many rooms.
